It’s time to finally pull the trigger and push out one of the multiple - and I do mean multiple - projects I have been working on for some time now. And that project is my own tshirt shop!

Simply put I have been wanting do something like this since my senior year of high school when my honor society asked me to design tshirts for the all of the students. It was such a big rush that after high school I would come up with dozens of designs and slogans. But I was broke and clueless of the design process. I did not have any clue on how to get them onto my computer let alone, color separation, pricing, printing, etc etc. Then came my love for comics, concept art and a plethora of the happy and awesome distractions that took up

some time.

But my passion for this wouldn’t die. Some time around the end of my college career I caught the bug for graphic design again. And my passion for tshirt design would often come back to the surface. Every so often I would sketch out an idea or create a mockup in Illustrator or Photoshop for the hell of it. I began building on ideas and drawing on inspiration from life as well as comics, music (HipHop for the most part), artistic subcultures, and so much more.

As I began showing them off privately, my passion for this grew even stronger. Well, technology and the internet have finally caught up with my laziness and I can finally put my tshirts online the way I want to. So I am proud to say that:

I have got a lot of positive feedback.

So with that said here is the next one. No tutorials just me and the right side of the brain.

I am not sure is this one was lyrics from song that caught my attention or just the phrase in general.

No tutorials, no experiments just the stuff I consider art. I had listen to a lot of old school hip and looking at the latest in 3d typography so I thought to myself why don't I combine the two and make something really fresh or at least new to me.

So a while go, I was going over some ideas and A ATCQ song came on called "LYRICS TO GO" and I thought it was perfect. A little Illustrator and a lot of Photoshop and Textures.

And it kinda of my New Year Resolution to push my art work out there more that I ever had before.

So over the last month and a half I been grinding out 15 new pieces that I would normally not do. This exercise was not getting more views as some detractors might say, but stepping outside of my comfort zone and stepping up my artistic ability as well as my design skills.

So I don't keep on talking and babbling I want to start of with the first piece dedicated a legend in the Rock Industry and one of two legends that share my birthday.

Jimi Hendrix

I am spreading this pieces out all over the web along all of my Social and artistic Networking site

As the title states this is only the first one fourteen more to go.

So please stay tuned.

blaqueWilliam Andersonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05945164461572601965noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5890669477064283287.post-63615469807104762502010-01-31T15:37:00.001-05:002010-01-31T15:37:49.779-05:00Pardon My babble ......but I seem to be going through a crisis of an artist nature. I produce a a lot of works form illustration to graphic design, comic book art to web design, T-shirt apparel design to Vector illustrations concept art to 3d character models. So I have lot of work and in recent years I have been holding off on pushing any of it because I wanted to put it in an artbook. But, it is increasingly hard on me to look at my art I have set aside for an artbook or a sketch book that is almost 2 years old and see good work or work that represent what I can do.

So my question, my queue is if you think one should hold showing the artwork to be shown exclusively in an art book or just put it out and if an art book comes up collect your best put it out. Don't worry about exclusivity and just be an artist.

Just something that is knocking around in my head. I sitting here on 200 or so various art works for projects that may or may not happen. I'd rather be see that than wait to see them if a book or two get out.

blaqueWilliam Andersonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05945164461572601965noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5890669477064283287.post-527725853242117852010-01-29T20:28:00.003-05:002010-01-29T20:36:24.871-05:00So...I don't really do this type of thing but, I am not feeling the IPAD, Its pretty cool but I was hoping for a whole lot more. Don't get me wrong It's lovely as an over-sized I-POD Touch but it could have been so much more. I was truly hoping for the new-aged digital sketch book. Just imagining it with a program like Artrage or sketchpad or ever corel draw make my imagination go crazy. I could truly see myself taking it anywhere and drawing anything. But, Alas it just an over sized expensive reader.

Maybe next I will get what I want.

Oh and thing are going to be changing.

FRESH FIFTEEN coming real, real soon and re-model of the blog is definately needed.

Keep it Classic and I will Keep it Blaque, lol So cornyWilliam Andersonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05945164461572601965noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5890669477064283287.post-66458524116577604402009-12-22T13:38:00.005-05:002009-12-22T14:02:39.894-05:00MC Do The Art of Hip-HopAs I continue to try and find the strength to let some of my most hidden piece go. I happened upon this piece entitled," MC do: The Art of Hip-Hop."

So let me get you up to speed, At first this was piece I was playing around with at my previous place of employment when there was absolutely nothing to do. It originally stared out as my trying to get a my mind around CS3 and playing with it's new functions. However, After hour upon hour of listening to Old/ True School Hip-Hop, it became some thing more. I started to really get into the piece, I notice I was killing my machine. So I had to take it home to the mac and finish it there.

For a few weeks out of my life this was all I thought about. Every vector, every image used was in some was influenced by a particular song in on my Zune (that right I said zune, deal with it).

Upon finishing this piece I wanted to show the world but forgot about it until I was asked to put it in a show. However, this peice did not make the cut so I put it back in to the vault.

I was originally going to do more with the inclusion of the elements of hip-hop, however I decided to put those of hold to develop some other ideas. Those other poster are still being work on however have taken in a new direction

More to come

ClassicWilliam Andersonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05945164461572601965noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5890669477064283287.post-56095109674879698232009-10-08T12:15:00.000-04:002009-10-08T12:15:00.749-04:00Baltimore HarborHere is an photo of the Baltimore inner harbor I took a few years ago which I then in tun tried the faux tilt shift technique I have been playing around with.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqibXgYaOgYkevoM0rxYH-1h6osKSMCwk0I5s43KueOgkZtiH18C22464LsDQr-uDsrUCUFG-zOxZ8vEG92bdV7CWQX9kOMDs-5vdcD0tT8IcIFk-1C_F3ZHl_I7DXWbgUi6js1CdmJ_Bb/s320/The-Harbor-Tilt-Shift_b.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5389966829388323266" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvukC_TQDTxx-97d007ur6zonE62oAUTnWsNnwmwy7Z_-zbqmEkukoIryz129s1SmbP1W7-5mgmKqCn0kp_h-JGVr0FgocXEFEMd7bnAdp5ooo9HqgzYXzAyE66I7SlAMvjBLLM9S4c_Fy/s320/The-Harbor-Tilt-Shift_c.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5389966821504724594" />

More "art" on the way.William Andersonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05945164461572601965noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5890669477064283287.post-26437081898680312272009-08-24T12:15:00.001-04:002010-08-15T12:51:05.814-04:00Melyssa Ford AKA Jessica RabbitI haven't posted anything in a while but please believe I have alot on the way, It is just a task trying to find a job and keep a positive mind set on creating something new.
Things I once scoffed at now seem pretty cool and worth playing around with at least for a short time period. I am by no means going away from my current interest and loves. I just want to branch out and see what happen with some idea I have.

For some time now I have been playing around with the idea of vinyl figures. Ever since my senior art exhibition I have been chomping at the bit to do few of them for my self at least. I really like going through the whole process. from rough concept to final product I don't want to skip any steps. It fascinating to me to see something like that come to life. I feel same way when I create a piece in 3D.

The next avenue in t-shirts. I am by no means trying to be a fashion designer. I no desire to be one. but I have truly seen some amazing design on t-shirts lately. And want to try my hand at them. I have not desire to do designs with skulls on them. For some reason I find that cliche and rather boring. There are some really amazing designs out there and then there are some really boring designs that look like a six year old did them.

So in coming days, weeks and months I will hopefully be able to throw some new art work up from then two new avenues to get some feed back.

Keep grinding.

Blaque.William Andersonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05945164461572601965noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5890669477064283287.post-34041445477064986432009-02-12T01:34:00.007-05:002009-02-22T02:02:26.739-05:00It's Just a little digitalRosario Dawson digital Painting

I be back with a lot more very soon.

classic blaqueWilliam Andersonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05945164461572601965noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5890669477064283287.post-4097632563370782492009-02-12T01:01:00.002-05:002009-02-12T01:07:33.775-05:00So I have been go for a while, Huh.So I have been go for a while, I did not mean it this happen to me once and I while, I get really good at updating a posting art is getting back to people and then I loose interest in the something or get really in to the production of my own projects. The latter is what happen this time including the fact that I lost my job due to this damn recession.

It sucks but I am am still alive and breathing. As long as I can wake up everyday and create I good. I am diligently working to find new job as well as reworking my web-sites to show off what I can rally do as a artist.
